What is the difference between Orthotherm Clear and Orthotherm Clear Plus?
Orthotherm Clear Plus was specially developed for orthopaedic technology. The tensions in the material are slightly lower than with Orthotherm Clear.

Why do I have blisters in my socket?
The blisters can occur for various reasons. The most common reason is that the material has been stored too moist. As Orthotherm Clear / Orthotherm Clear Plus is hygroscopic, care must be taken to ensure that it is stored in a dry place. If this is not the case, the material will draw moisture from the environment. When the material is heated, bubbles form as the moisture evaporates.

My material was stored too damp. Do I have to throw it all away now?
No, you can temper the sheet in the oven to remove the moisture.
To do this, set the temperature to max. 100°C and temper in the oven for 1 hour per mm of material thickness.
