Adddition® Prothesis Cover

Adddition Prosthetic Covers are two-piece, fully enclosed, 3D-printed rigid shell covers that can be mounted quickly and easily to a prosthesis.

► Mini-Cover: Directly protect the knee joint and come in a standard shape.
► TF-Cover: Extend from the knee joint down to the prosthetic foot, covering both the knee joint and all prosthetic components in between. The circumference and length of the cover can be customized to meet individual requirements.

Standard or customized?

A range of standard versions is available directly from stock. Customized covers are also available. The color of the front and rear sections, the protective coating finish, and the model type can be individually selected.

Mini-Cover

Mini-Covers directly protect the knee joint and come in a standard shape.

For selected knee joints, they are available from stock as a standard product in a matte black finish with an opening for the charging port. Alternatively, they can be ordered as a customized cover. In this case, the color of the front and rear sections, the protective coating finish, and the model type can be selected.

In General

AK-Cover

AK-Covers extend from the knee joint down to the prosthetic foot, covering both the knee joint and all prosthetic components in between. The circumference and length of the cover can be customized to meet individual requirements.

For selected knee joints, the covers are available from stock as a standard product
in a matte black finish with a circumference of 36 cm or 38 cm. The overall length of the cover is 46 cm in both versions and can be individually trimmed in the workshop. An opening for the charging port is integrated into all standard covers.

AK-Covers are also available as customized covers. The color of the front and rear sections, the protective coating finish, and the model type can be individually selected.

To order a customized cover, two dimensions (circumference and length, the latter between 34 cm and 44 cm) as well as the side of the cover have to be
specified. Furthermore, the so-called C-cut can be selected when a prosthetic
foot with a C-shaped spring design is used.

The following circumference sizes are available:

  • XS – 32 cm
  • S – 34 cm
  • M – 36 cm
  • L – 38 cm
  • XL – 40 cm
  • 2XL – 42 cm

The length can be selected from a range between 34 cm and 44 cm (measured from the knee axis to the top edge of the foot cosmesis). If you specify a length of 44 cm, the overall length of the cover will be 46 cm.

Both the Mini-Covers and the AK-Covers are available in a total of 20 different colors, consisting of 12 standard colors and 8 metallic colors. The front and rear sections of the cover can each be selected in a different color, allowing for a high degree of individual customization.

Each color is finished with a protective coating. The coating is available with three different finishes:

Design/Model Options

Design and Model Options

To add even more individuality to the design of the prosthetic cover, Mini-Covers and AK-Covers are available in six different model options. On these models, the front and back parts feature different design patterns, creating a distinctive overall appearance. It is not possible to combine two different model designs within a single cover. Depending on the cover type, the size of the pattern may vary. Each model is available in all colors.

Ordering

No scan is required to order Adddition Mini-Covers or AK-Covers. You only need to provide two measurements: the required calf circumference and length.

Please provide us with this information, as well as the selected color, protective coating finish, model, and knee joint type, using the order forms (s. Download) or in an official email to orders@wjt-ortho.com.

Please also indicate whether or notan access opening for the charging port is required in the cover.
