The Fascination of Motor-Supported Walking

The Intuy Knee supports users in getting up and in walking during all situations of everyday life with its powerful motor.
Thanks to its intuitive microprocessor control, using the Intuy Knee is as simple as it is efficient. Getting up and starting to walk, climbing stairs and walking on slanted surfaces, walking at a brisk pace or casually strolling - no matter the situation, the Intuy Knee lends its users the support they require. The Intuy Knee is able to actively replace missing muscle activity while at the same time relieving the contralateral side.

The Intuy Knee can be used for AK and knee disarticulation amputees. It can be used for almost all residual limb lengths. Due to the active support, users with a short residual limb profit especially from using this joint.

Activity level and mobility levels: 2-4

The Intuy Knee has been tested according to DIN EN ISO 10328, and has a weight limit of 125 kg.

Contraindication:
The Intuy Knee is not suitable for users with Osseointegration and users who are cognitively incapable of operating the knee joint.

Service

Our service for you. Before, during and after purchase.

Before using the joint you will receive detailed instruction by our experienced field staff of CPOs, including a practical and theoretical certificate.

During the fitting, our field staff will further support you. During a fitting, you can be accompanied by your sales representative on request.

After the purchase, you will have direct contact persons in our team for all service questions. Replacement joints are available during maintenance intervals, to ensure the user has a suitable prosthesis at all times.

Test Fittings

Test Fittings

Test fittings with the Intuy Knee can be done over the course of one day with the support of our field sales force. If a test fitting over a longer period of 1-2 weeks is also possible. For a rental fee, a test fitting over a longer period of 1-2 weeks is also possible.

Test fittings are documented with a technician's questionaire, which will subsequently support the application process with the insurance providers.

The functional scope of the Intuy Knee Neo is tailored to the essential, everyday movement patterns and their execution with maximum safety and stability.

Who can use the Intuy Knee?
All users with a weight (adjusted body weight) of 30-125 kg, a height of 120-195 cm and a residual limb length of 8 cm or more.

Is it possible to support bilateral amputees with the Intuy Knee?
Basically yes, possibly with some restrictions.

How far can you walk with a fully charged battery of the Intuy Knee?
On average, the battery lasts for a walking distance of 22 km. At least 12 km can be achieved, the maximum so far was more than 50 km.

Can I ride a bike with the Intuy Knee?
Yes, there is a special cycling mode that can be easily activated and after cycling directly switches back to walking mode when getting off the bike.

How can I optimize the use of my Intuy Knee?
Under the “Videos” tab you will find some assistance and guidance for various everyday situations that will support you in your personal training.

Will the Intuy Knee support me when climbing stairs?
Yes, the Intuy Knee provides active support with a maximum of 100 Nm per step and it enables you to climb stairs step-over-step.

What happens if I hit smaller obstacles with the Intuy Knee?
That's no problem, the Intuy Knee simply pushes smaller obstacles out of the way. Walking in high grass is also possible without any difficulty.

Are there restrictions when it comes to selecting components?
No, you are not obligated to use certain components. However, feet with jointed movement in plantar flexion and dorsiflexion are not compatible.
